ABOUT

Mads Juel (b. 1990, Copenhagen, DK) holds an MFA from Malmö Art Academy (2017).
His practice is founded in photographic processes and writing, where he uses auto-biographical notes and ‘slips of the tongue’ that he reworks or re-enacts. Through an interest in landscape, he combines representations of nature with explorations of identity, embarrassment and the evaporation of norms in a collision of ruination and the picturesque.
