ABOUT
Mads Juel (b. 1990, Copenhagen, DK) is a Danish visual artist based in Lisbon. Juel holds an MFA from Malmö Art Academy (2017) and The HISK in Ghent (2016), as well as a BFA from Malmö Art Academy (2015) and Cooper Union in New York (2014). He is currently participating in the ISP Maumaus in Lisbon. Juel works with photography and text, exploring the performativity of language and the body.
